ArmInfo. Newly appointed Canadian Ambassador to Armenia Julie Crowley presented copies of her credentials to Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister Vahan Kostanyan.

According to the press service of the Armenian Foreign Ministry, Kostanyan congratulated Ambassador Crowley on the start of her diplomatic mission, expressing confidence that the newly appointed ambassador will make a significant contribution to the further expansion of effective cooperation between the two countries.

The parties discussed ongoing work in areas of cooperation identified following the bilateral political consultations held in Ottawa in July of this year, and also reaffirmed the importance of further strengthening trade and economic ties between the two countries.

The parties also addressed current issues on the international agenda.
