Ecologist: Agi Lich`s ecosystem will not be disturbed

ArmInfo. The ecosystem of Agi Lich (Salt Lake in Yerevan) will not be disturbed. Ecologist Eduard Hayrumyan announced this on his Facebook page.

It should be noted that the day before, the ecologist appealed to Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan with a request to stop work on the lake and listen to residents' opinions before implementing the project. Specifically, in a video message, he stated that city hall employees had already begun destroying the reed beds that served as a natural filter for the lake.

Earlier today, Hayrumyan announced that changes would be made to the project following a visit by a delegation consisting of the head of the Yerevan Construction and Improvement Department, the head of the Erebuni administrative district, several other officials, and the construction company that won the tender.
