ArmInfo. Catholicos of All Armenians Garegin II consecrated a new church in the community of Byureghavan in Armenia’s Kotayk Province.
The church was built with funds provided by Armenian entrepreneurs Mkhitar and Yuri Aroyan, who live in Russia, based on a design by architect Edik Poghosyan. The consecration ceremony was attended by Narek Karapetyan, head of the parliamentary opposition faction “Strong Armenia.”
Before the consecration ceremony, the Catholicos told journalists that the Armenian people should live in peace and enjoy a prosperous and secure life. “May the Lord bless the bright life that awaits our people,” said the head of the Armenian Apostolic Church.
As for the difficulties along this path, Garegin II noted that they would be overcome together with the entire Armenian people, which would make it possible to resolve all the problems facing the country.
