The United States is ready to discuss opportunities to deepen cooperation with Armenia in new areas - Andrew Loomis

On September 17, First Deputy Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Edward Asryan met with US Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense Andrew Loomis. This was reported by the press service of the RA Ministry of Defense.

During the meeting, issues of Armenian-American defense cooperation were discussed. Both sides highly praised the current level of cooperation. In particular, they emphasized the importance of peacekeeping operations, the training of professional sergeants, instructors, and junior commanders, military education, and the development of cooperation in other areas.

Andrew Loomis noted that the United States will continue cooperation within the framework of current programs and is ready to discuss opportunities to deepen cooperation in new areas.
