ArmInfo. The "Trump Route" (TRIPP) will operate under the jurisdiction of Armenia. This was stated by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on September 16 during government hour in the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, responding to a question from Marianna Ghahramanyan, a member of parliament from the opposition Strong Armenia faction.
The member of parliament, in particular, mentioned the statement by Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov, who noted that all entrances and exits along the "Trump Route" (TRIPP) passing through Armenia will be under Azerbaijani control.
In response, Nikol Pashinyan pointed out the naturalness of this route, since it connects two parts of Azerbaijan, and there is no other option. The Prime Minister announced that the RA Constitutional Court recognized the provisions of the agreement concluded in Washington as compliant with the RA Constitution and that it will soon be submitted to the National Assembly for ratification. According to this agreement, the TRIPP project will be implemented within the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the Republic of Armenia.
