President of the Republic of Armenia and Swiss Ambassador Discussed Possibilities for Applying Swiss Experience in Forestry

Arminfo.  On September 16, President of the Republic of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan received Andrea Barbara Baumann, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Switzerland to Armenia, on the occasion of the national holiday.

As reported by the presidential press service, Vahagn Khachaturyan congratulated the ambassador and, through her, the people and leadership of Switzerland, conveying his best wishes.

 

Andrea Barbara Baumann expressed her gratitude for the reception and warm words.

During the meeting, the agenda for the dynamic development of cooperation between Armenia and Switzerland was discussed. The possibilities of exchanging and applying Switzerland’s advanced experience in forestry, the development of democratic institutions, citizen participation in governance, and other areas were highlighted.
