A wide range of issues concerning the bilateral Armenian-German agenda were discussed at a meeting in Yerevan between Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister Vahan Kostanyan and a delegation headed by Anton Hofreiter, Chairman of the Committee on European Union Affairs of the German Bundestag.
According to the press service of Armenia’s Foreign Ministry, the sides touched upon steps aimed at expanding mutually beneficial cooperation in the areas outlined in the joint declaration “On the Strategic Agenda of the Bilateral Partnership,” signed by the Prime Minister of Armenia and the Federal Chancellor of Germany.
The importance of increasing trade turnover between the two countries, including the volume of agricultural exports from Armenia to Germany, and developing business ties was emphasized.
The meeting also addressed issues related to advancing the Armenia-EU partnership agenda. They exchanged views on regional and international developments.
