ArmInfo. Despite the fact that the Armenian authorities are using every possible means to hinder the independence of the local self-government system, the “Country to live” party will fight to establish democratic institutions through elections. Co-founder of the party Mane Tandilyan wrote about this on her Facebook page.
According to her, the party will actively participate in the upcoming elections to local self-government bodies. For the political force, representation in communities and the resolution of local problems remain an important priority.
“We are confident that we will be able to consolidate the results achieved in the previous elections, taking into account the effective work of the “Country for Life” party in the communities,” the politician noted.
It should be noted that elections to local self-government bodies in Armenia in the autumn of 2026 will be held in a number of communities according to the approved schedule. In particular, on September 27, elections to local self-government bodies will be held in the communities of Tumanyan and Lermontovo, while on October 25, proportional elections will be held in a number of
large settlements, including Artashat (Ararat Province), Armavir and Araks (Armavir Province).
