Tevanyan: Armenia, like Ukraine and Moldova, is being drawn into the EU’s global war

Arminfo.   Today, Armenia, like Ukraine and Moldova, has been drawn into the global war unleashed by the EU, believes Andranik Tevanyan, leader of the “Mother Armenia” party.

In a statement sent from the “Yerevan-Kentron” penitentiary institution (PI), the politician recalled that his political force took part in the regular June parliamentary elections with a program called “Armenia’s Proposal,” which was based on the concept of guaranteed peace. “On the other side were the local proxies of the party of global war and the anti-Russian international—the fifth column called the ‘Civil Contract’ party, the Armenian branch of the party of world war,” Tevanyan noted.

He drew attention to the fact that his team’s proposal was an alternative for Armenia. However, he said, since the elections were falsified on an unprecedented scale, it is not yet possible to implement this program. “Now Armenia, like Ukraine and Moldova, has been drawn into the global war. Georgia rejected the prospect of becoming a bargaining chip because it learned lessons from the consequences of Mikheil Saakashvili’s adventure in 2008. Pashinyan, following the instructions of external forces, is turning Armenia against Russia, which has the status of our strategic ally. Official Yerevan and Moscow are already in a state of war: this war is being waged at the diplomatic, economic and informational levels,” the leader of the “Mother Armenia” party remarked.

According to him, this is precisely what is called hybrid warfare. Tevanyan urged people to call things by their proper names and noted that the hybrid war against Russia—at the cost of the interests and lives of citizens of Armenia and other countries—is being waged by those European Union (EU) officials and leaders of EU member states who are members of the “party of global war and the anti-Russian international.” At the same time, he stated that as a result of the activities of these circles, not only the peoples of Ukraine, Moldova and Armenia are suffering, but EU citizens themselves as well. “It is no coincidence that the approval rating of French President Emmanuel Macron, the leader of one of the EU’s leading countries, is at rock bottom, while the party of another globalist—the German Chancellor Friedrich Merz—suffered a shameful defeat just days ago in important local elections,” the politician noted.

Tevanyan pointed out that in Germany, the largest number of votes was received by the “Alternative for Germany” party, which opposes confrontation with Russia and the financing of the war in Ukraine at the expense of Germany’s budget and the welfare of Germans. “It is appropriate to note that since 2022, Germany has allocated more than 100 billion euros to the war in Ukraine, a significant portion of which the Zelensky government appropriated through corruption schemes. The ‘Alternative for Germany’ party supports genuine peace. But the Merzes, Ursulas and Macrons are leading the EU toward an adventure—a direct war with Russia in 2030, which will become a catastrophe on a global scale. But for these adventurers and little Fuhrers, human lives and Western, that is, universal, values are of no importance—just as the lives of the Armenians of Artsakh had no value for them in 2022, when they made a decision in Prague that contributed to the ethnic cleansing of Armenians,” emphasized the leader of the “Mother Armenia” party.

According to him, Pashinyan is a proxy of precisely these adventurers, who placed him under Turkey’s protection and promised to safeguard his rule in exchange for turning Armenia into a bargaining chip against Russia. The beneficiaries, Tevanyan noted, are Turkey and Azerbaijan. “But Pashinyan and his external masters are absolutely uninterested in this. So what if, along the way, the Armenians of Artsakh were forcibly expelled from their homeland, and now it is Armenia’s turn. For the Armenian prime minister, the main thing is to save his own skin, while for the party of global war, the main thing is to drive the Russians out of our region. The globalists do not care about the ethnic cleansing of Armenians: they are indifferent even to the peoples of their own countries—let alone everyone else. In the latest elections, the Germans rejected this inhumane policy. The French and other peoples will also reject neo-fascism. EU citizens have an alternative. The Armenian people also have an alternative: we are not doomed to be a bargaining chip. Let us follow the example of the Germans, of the ‘Alternative for Germany’ party,” Tevanyan concluded.
