



ArmInfo. Armenia has ratified a new treaty on the procedure for organizing and conducting an international controlled delivery. The relevant decision was adopted at a session of the RA National Assembly on September 14.
Presenting the document, RA Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Armen Kazaryan noted that the document was signed on October 10, 2025, and entered into force on July 9, 2026. The treaty regulates cooperation among the competent authorities of CIS countries in combating the illicit trafficking of weapons and other unlawful activities. The main objectives of the document are to identify and suppress channels for the illicit trafficking of drugs, weapons and other prohibited items, establish the organizers, accomplices and recipients of smuggled consignments, and conduct joint operational measures under the supervision of law enforcement agencies.
