An Armenian historian harshly criticized the visit of Western coalition diplomats to occupied Artsakh

Arminfo.  Historian and political analyst Armen Ayvazyan harshly criticized the visit by diplomats from the Western coalition to occupied Artsakh.

"These latest photographs show the genuinely jubilant French Ambassador to Azerbaijan Sophie Lagoutte, U.S. Chargé d’Affaires Amy Carlon, and EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus Magdalena Grono yesterday in depopulated Shushi," he wrote on his Facebook page. .

He reminded that the leaders of the aforementioned countries also promise security and prosperity to Armenia and Armenians, while simultaneously instructing the puppet "government" of Armenia installed by them to gradually hand over the Republic of Armenia as well to the Turks and Azerbaijanis.

"And then, with the same jubilation, they will stroll through Meghri, Kapan, Goris, Sisian and, ultimately, Yerevan, emptied of Armenians—if, of course, everything proceeds according to the scenario they have written... By the way, for approximately two and a half decades, the leaders of Armenia were deceived in the same way—with promises of security, peace and prosperity, while many of them were simultaneously bribed, corrupted and politically stupefied. The result is before our eyes," the historian added.

In conclusion, he wondered what the resolution of the French Senate, adopted just six years ago—on November 25, 2020—almost unanimously, by 305 votes in favor and 1 against, on the need to recognize the Republic of Artsakh, was worth.

It should be noted that yesterday representatives of the foreign diplomatic corps accredited in Baku visited occupied Artsakh. They visited Shushi and Stepanakert, where the Azerbaijani occupation regime is erasing all Armenian presence under the silent encouragement of the so-called civilized international community. Among the participants was also EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus Magdalena Grono, who told journalists  of her intention to visit Armenia after Azerbaijan and occupied Artsakh.
