ArmInfo. Narek Karapetyan, head of the opposition “Strong Armenia” faction of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, and faction deputy chairman Aram Vardevanyan held a meeting with Sergey Kopyrkin, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to Armenia, on September 11.

According to a statement by the press service of the Armenian parliament, the meeting discussed issues concerning the prospects for further deepening and expanding relations between Armenia and Russia, including in the context of interparliamentary cooperation.

The sides expressed their readiness to continue constructive dialogue and support initiatives and steps contributing to bilateral cooperation.

The meeting also touched upon geopolitical developments.
