The new French Ambassador presented copies of his credentials to Armenia`s Deputy Foreign Minister.

ArmInfo. Newly appointed French Ambassador to Armenia, Florian Escudier, presented copies of his credentials to Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade Vahan Kostanyan.

According to the press service of the Armenian Foreign Ministry, Kostanyan congratulated Escudier on the beginning of his diplomatic mission in Armenia and wished him fruitful work. The Armenian diplomat expressed confidence that the newly appointed French ambassador will make a significant contribution to the further strengthening of Armenian-French relations and deepening the strategic partnership.

During the meeting, the interlocutors exchanged views on current issues on the bilateral agenda, touching on the development of cooperation in the areas outlined in the joint declaration on the strategic partnership between Armenia and France and the implementation of new initiatives.

In this context, the interlocutors also emphasized the importance of cooperation in the trade, economic, and infrastructure sectors as key areas of the bilateral agenda.
