ArmInfo. In Riga, the official part of Armenian Foreign Affairs and International Trade Minister Ararat Mirzoyan's visit began with a one-on-one meeting with Latvian Foreign Minister Baiba Braze. According to the press service of the Armenian Foreign Ministry, the talks then continued in an expanded format with the participation of the delegations.

Following the talks, Mirzoyan and Braze signed a Protocol between the governments of Armenia and Latvia on the implementation of the "Agreement between the European Union and the Republic of Armenia on the readmission of persons residing without authorization."

It is also reported that the focus of Minister Mirzoyan's first visit to Riga is the development of bilateral relations between Armenia and Latvia, various issues on the Armenia-EU partnership agenda, including work to further strengthen Armenia's economic and energy resilience.
