ArmInfo. The Days of Armenian Culture in Georgia will begin on October 7 and will be dedicated to the 35th anniversary of Armenia's independence. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports, citing the results of a meeting between Tigran Virabyan, Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports of the Republic of Armenia, and his Georgian counterpart, Giorgi Mirtskhulava.

The parties discussed issues related to the organization of the event's program, as well as new opportunities for developing bilateral cultural ties.

According to the source, the Days of Culture will begin with a gala concert by the Armenian National Philharmonic Orchestra. An exhibition of works by prominent Armenian artist and sculptor Yervand Kochar is also planned, and will run until November 8.
