The press service of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports of Armenia reported this, citing a government decision.
According to the source, a deferment from conscription for compulsory military service is granted for full-time study and work in the Republic of Armenia for at least three years after completing undergraduate (specialist, integrated program), master's, or doctoral programs at institutions included in the Academic Ranking of World Universities.
To obtain a deferment from conscription for compulsory military service, an application must be submitted to the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports from April 1 to May 1 or from October 1 to November 1, along with the required documents., the department said in a statement.
