ArmInfo. The Armenian Constitution is not on the Armenian-Azerbaijani agenda. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated this during a briefing on September 3, answering a question about whether amendments to the Armenian Constitution were discussed during a meeting with the Azerbaijani president.

He emphasized that the Constitution is not being discussed with external partners and other countries, as it is a matter of the Republic of Armenia's domestic policy. In this regard, Pashinyan called on other countries not to use opposition rhetoric, as this does not align with partnership. Pashinyan also stated that all bilateral issues were discussed with Aliyev at the meeting in Bishkek.

The Prime Minister also noted that the text of the new Constitution will be published by the end of the year. "It's ready in practice; a final discussion is still needed, and only then will the draft be published," Pashinyan said.

As a reminder, earlier this year, in an interview with France 24, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev expressed hope that once the legal formalities were completed, namely, amendments to the Armenian Constitution, official peace would be reached between Armenia and Azerbaijan and a peace treaty would be signed.
