


ArmInfo. The preliminary investigation into the criminal case of abuse of office by the former director of the non-governmental organization "Ajapnyak Center for Aesthetic Medicine" has been completed.
According to the RA Investigative Committee, upon the agency's special instruction, the main department has completed the preliminary investigation into the criminal case of abuse of office by the former director of the NGO. During the preliminary investigation, clear factual evidence was obtained indicating that N.A., who held the position of director of the NGO from March 27, 2001 to September 6, 2021, by his orders established salaries for himself and several employees of the NGO that exceeded the established rates.
N.A.'s illegal actions caused significant damage to the legitimate interests of the community. In particular, its normal operations were disrupted, as the community was deprived of the opportunity to use the funds for their intended purpose. As a result, it suffered particularly large property losses in the amount of 9,784,341 drams.
During the preliminary investigation, by decision of the supervising prosecutor, a criminal case was opened against N.A. under Article 441, Part 2, Clause 5 of the Criminal Code (abuse of office or official authority, or the resulting influence, or abuse of authority by an official). The criminal case was transferred to the supervising prosecutor along with the indictment.
