ArmInfo. Starting September 1, 2026, theoretical qualification exams for obtaining a driver's license will be conducted according to a new procedure. This was reported to ArmInfo by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of Armenia.
According to the source, from now on, the questions on the current unified examination ticket are grouped into two groups - for categories A, B, C and D, T. To obtain the right to drive a vehicle of class A, B or C, candidates answer questions from the general examination ticket for groups A, B, C. For example, to obtain the right to drive a passenger car of category B, the examination ticket of this group is used. To obtain the right to drive a vehicle of category D or T, candidates answer questions from the general ticket for groups D, T. "This means that a ticket for this group is required to obtain the right to drive a Class D bus," the ministry explained.
The Ministry also reported that the quality of the images attached to the questions has changed. "We would like to inform you that no new questions have been added to the exam tickets; in accordance with the regulations, only their grouping has changed. If new questions are added, they will be published and included in the exam tests 30 days after publication. The purpose of these changes is to more accurately assess the knowledge required for the safe and legal operation of vehicles in the relevant group," the Armenian Ministry of Internal Affairs concluded.
