


ArmInfo. On September 1, Russian Ambassador to Armenia Sergey Kopyrkin attended a ceremonial assembly to mark Knowledge Day at Secondary Comprehensive School No. 21 of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation in Yerevan.
According to the press service of the Russian Embassy in Armenia, in his welcoming address, Kopyrkin congratulated the school's teaching staff and students on the start of the new academic year.
"Dear first-graders, today you are embarking on a very exciting and challenging journey of knowledge. I am confident that your teachers, parents, and older classmates will help you along the way. Of course, my special wishes go to the eleventh-graders, the future graduates." "I wish this year to be a successful and effective stage in preparing for the goals you have set for yourselves," he noted.
The festive event began with the raising of the flag and the playing of the Russian anthem, after which the students performed a creative program for those present. As is traditional, the first bell rang for first-graders.
Representatives of the Yerevan city authorities, the Erebuni Air Base, the Russian House in Yerevan, and the Yerevan-Armenian Diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church joined in congratulating and extending their best wishes.
