


ArmInfo. Rescuers removed stranded cars from torrential rain in Yerevan on August 30 after heavy rain. This was reported by the press service of the MIA SS.
According to the source, the MIA 112 emergency response center received reports of accidents and incidents caused by heavy rain in the capital that day. "In particular, these included flooding in the Malatia- Sebastia and Nor Nork administrative districts of Yerevan, vehicles stranded in torrential rainwater, and short circuits in electrical wires," the ministry explained.
In this regard, as noted by the SS Ministry of Internal Affairs, fire and rescue teams from the Yerevan Rescue Department of the SS Ministry of Internal Affairs, as well as a rescue team from the Center for Special Rescue Operations of the Rescue Forces Department, were dispatched to the scene. "Rescuers used motor pumps at various locations to pump water from the roads. Simultaneously, they freed vehicles trapped in torrents of rainwater," the department concluded.
