Russian Humanitarian Mission in Armenia completes construction of  kindergarten in Fioletovo

ArmInfo. The Russian Humanitarian Mission (RHM) in Armenia announces that it has completed construction of a kindergarten in the village of Fioletovo in the  Lori region and has begun installing a greenhouse for School No. 17  in Yerevan.

According to the mission, the RHM team recently completed another  working visit to Armenia, during which they inspected the  construction of a kindergarten in the village of Fioletovo in the  Lori region and signed an agreement to build another facility - a  greenhouse for Specialized School No. 17 in Yerevan.  It is noted  that teachers from Yerevan approached RHM with a request to equip an  indoor space for growing plants. Founded in 1972, School No. 17 for  children with disabilities remains the only institution of its kind  in the South Caucasus. Currently, 130 children with disabilities are  enrolled there. A modern 100-square-meter greenhouse will provide  another space for lessons, and thanks to continuous heating and  lighting, gardening will be possible year-round. Construction of the  new greenhouse is scheduled for completion within two months.

It is also noted that the foundation of the new kindergarten-the  first in the village-for 50 children was laid last summer, and the  facility is currently 70% complete. "Right now, workers are  installing the roof, finishing the wall cladding, and preparing the  interior for finishing work," the statement reads. According to  Alexey Chichov, head of the Molokan community, the opening of the  kindergarten is eagerly awaited not only by preschoolers but also by  their parents. This will give adults-especially mothers and  grandmothers-the opportunity to return to work, devoting more time to  their private farms, or raising their youngest children. Despite the  overall decline in birth rates, Molokan families, who have lived in  Fioletovo for over a century and a half, maintain the tradition of  having many children.

The infrastructure projects are being implemented by the Russian  Humanitarian Mission as part of the "Russia is with You" program  under the auspices of Rossotrudnichestvo, with the support of Russian  business partners.
