In Gyumri, basements of houses were flooded due to heavy rains

ArmInfo. On the evening of August 28, heavy rains flooded the basements of several houses in the Ani district of Gyumri.

According to the press service of the Rescue Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia, starting at 8:16 PM, fire brigades of the Fire and Rescue Service of the Regional Emergency Situations Department responded to alarms received by the Shirak Regional Operations Center.

Rescuers used motor pumps to pump out water from various houses, removing a total of approximately 125 cubic meters of water from basements.
