Land plot in Ararat village park returned to community

ArmInfo. As a result of the prosecutor's office's intervention, another plot of land in the  Ararat village park was returned to community ownership. This was  reported in a statement by the RA Prosecutor General's Office.

According to the statement, the Ararat Regional Prosecutor's Office,  as part of its mandate to protect state (community) interests,  reviewed documents on the allocation of land plots in the Ararat  village park area to various individuals with development rights. The  investigation revealed, among other things, that on August 10, 2007,  the former head of the Ararat rural community allocated a  20-square-meter plot of land from a park located at 44/1 Hakhtanak  Street in the village of Ararat to a person with a 99-year  development right. The investigation also revealed that the developer  had not used the land for its intended purpose. The prosecutor's  office filed a petition with the head of the Ararat community  requesting measures to terminate the development right agreement  concluded between the village of Ararat and the developer on August  10, 2007. Based on the petition, and following measures taken by the  competent authorities of the Ararat community, the community's right  to the plot was registered with the Cadastre Committee on August 24,  2026.
