AMD 1.327bln to be allocated for celebratory events marking 35th  anniversary of Armenia`s independence

ArmInfo. AMD 1.327bln will be allocated from the state budget for celebratory events marking the  35th anniversary of Armenia's declaration of independence. The  decision was made at a government meeting on August 27.

In her speech, RA Minister of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports  Zhanna Andreasyan, emphasizing the importance of the event, noted  that events are planned to be held not only in Yerevan but also in  other regions of the country. In this context, events planned to  begin on September 17 will cover virtually all of Armenia's populated  areas, both in the north and south. Specifically, festive  performances will take place in Ijevan on September 17, Vanadzor on  September 18, Kapan on September 19, Gyumri on September 20, and  Yerevan on September 21.

It is worth noting that the Tumanyan National Puppet Theater, the  State Symphony Orchestra of Armenia, the Pop-Jazz Orchestra of  Armenia, the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Armenia, and other  ensembles will perform in Yerevan and across the country.

The bulk of the funds-1.031 billion drams-will go toward organizing a  festive concert on September 21 in Yerevan's Republic Square. The  event is designed to accommodate approximately 40,000 spectators. The  program will consist of two parts: a historical and cultural  performance and a concert. The first part is based on the fairy tale  and legend "Azaran Blbul." The concert will feature Tata Simonyan,  Arman Oganesyan, Iveta Mukuchyan, Liparit Avetisyan, Gevorg Hakobyan,  Aram MP3, Karen-Sevak Band, and other performers. The State Symphony  Orchestra of Armenia and the Hovhannes Chekijyan National Academic  Choir of Armenia will also perform on stage.
