ArmInfo. The monument to the heroes of the Great Patriotic War, erected in the Armenian town of Artik, will be moved to a more comfortable environment. The decision to this effect was made at a meeting of the RA government.
The project justification emphasizes that the monument falls under the law "On the Preservation and Use of Immovable Historical and Cultural Monuments and the Historical Environment," which necessitated the legislative act by the Cabinet of Ministers. To ensure the material preservation of this monumental art piece, it was necessary to relocate it to a harmonious and comfortable environment for the public, providing favorable conditions for visual perception. It is proposed to relocate it to Friendship Park, after extensive restoration work has been completed.
The allocated area will be improved and become more comfortable, with a larger area for visitors. As a result, the park will be landscaped and expanded, and the mobile memorial wall will return to its original historical appearance.
