Strong Armenia faction member elected Chairman of NA Committee on  European Integration

ArmInfo.  National Assembly MP Harutyun Harutyunyan from the Strong Armenia opposition faction has  been elected Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on European  Integration.

As Lilit Minasyan, head of the NA Counting Commission, noted in her  speech, 104 of the 105 MPs participated in the secret ballot. 56 MPs  voted for Harutyunyan, while 48 voted against.

Thus, the opposition member has become Chairman of the NA Committee  on European Integration.

The parliament is currently discussing the candidacy for the Chairman  of the Committee on Territorial Administration, Agriculture, and  Environmental Protection. The Strong Armenia faction nominated Irina  Yolyan for this position.
