


ArmInfo. On August 25, Sargis Khandanyan, Chairman of the RA National Assembly Committee on Foreign Relations, met with Alexander Vinnikov, Head of the NATO Delegation to Georgia.
According to the NA press service, during the meeting, Sargis Khandanyan emphasized the importance of close relations between Armenia and NATO and spoke of the great potential for expanding cooperation.
At the guest's request, the Committee Chairman presented the current security situation in the region and touched on recent developments in the normalization process between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
Alexander Vinnikov congratulated Sargis Khandanyan on his election as Chairman of the Committee in the newly elected parliament. The Head of the NATO Delegation to Georgia spoke about deepening NATO- Armenia cooperation, praising Armenia's participation in the peacekeeping mission carried out as part of the peacekeeping force in Kosovo.
The interlocutors exchanged views on the agenda of the Armenia-NATO partnership.
