Opposition factions absent from discussion of RA Armenian  government`s program 

ArmInfo. The National Assembly of Armenia continues its discussion of the government's five-year program. Moreover, the discussions are taking place without  the participation of the opposition factions "Strong Armenia" and  "Armenia."

Having left the parliamentary session hall the day before,  representatives of "Strong Armenia" decided not to attend the  session, while members of the "Armenia" faction did not attend the  National Assembly due to searches of the homes of second President of  the Republic of Armenia Robert Kocharyan and his sons, which began  early in the morning. Speaking to reporters, lawyer Alexander  Kochubaev stated that it was too early to discuss a demand for the  arrest of Kocharyan and his sons, as this would need to be preceded  by the filing of charges. "I think it will not be until a preventive  measure in the form of arrest is applied," the lawyer stated.

As a reminder, the Anti-Corruption Committee has been conducting  searches of the homes of the second president and his sons since  early this morning. Searches are also being conducted at companies  associated with the family of the second president of the Republic of  Armenia.
