Residents of Lori and Shirak felt the earthquake in Georgia.

ArmInfo. An earthquake in Georgia, 13 km west of Dmanisi, was felt by residents of the Lori and Shirak regions of Armenia. This was reported by the press service of the Emergency Situations Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia.

It is noted that on August 24 at 6:04 PM local time, the seismological network of the Territorial Seismic Protection Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia recorded an earthquake with a magnitude of 2.9 at a depth of 10 km at the geographic coordinates of 41.35" north latitude and 44.05" east longitude, 13 km west of Dmanisi, Georgia. The intensity of the earthquake at the epicenter was 4.0 points on the Richter scale. The earthquake was felt in the villages of Bavra, Saragyukh and Sizavet in the Shirak region, as well as in the villages of Pagagbyur, Dzyunashog and Metsavan in the Lori region, with a magnitude of 2-3 points.
