Patriarch Kirill congratulates Karekin II on his 75th birthday

ArmInfo. Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia has extended his congratulations to Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II on the occasion of his 75th birthday, according to the official portal of the Russian Orthodox Church.

"Your Holiness, beloved brother in Christ! I cordially congratulate  you on your 75th jubilee," Patriarch Kirill stated in his official  message.

Recalling the Catholicos's decades of service, the Russian Patriarch  praised his contributions to theological education, pastoral  guidance, and the revival of religious life in both the homeland and  the global diaspora.

"Having dedicated your life to the service of God since your youth,  you have carried out responsible church obediences, labored in the  field of teaching, and performed pastoral and episcopal ministry,"  the message continued. "As the spiritual leader of the nation, you  have made a great contribution to the revival of religious life.  Years of sacrificial service as the Catholicos of All Armenians have  earned you deep respect throughout the Christian world."

Patriarch Kirill concluded by wishing the head of the Armenian  Apostolic Church robust health, spiritual fortitude, and divine  assistance in his ongoing patriarchal ministry.
