Armenian Cabinet of Ministers neither confirms nor denies recall of  ambassador to Russia

ArmInfo. The Armenian Cabinet of Ministers has neither  confirmed nor denied media reports regarding the potential recall of  Gurgen Arsenyan, the Republic of Armenia's Ambassador to the Russian  Federation.

"I have no comment. If any official information becomes available, it  will be made public," Melania Harutyunyan, press secretary to  Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, stated in an interview with  ArmInfo.

The reports initially emerged from the Joghovurd newspaper, which  cited anonymous sources claiming that Prime Minister Pashinyan had  decided to recall Ambassador Arsenyan from his post. According to  those reports, the decision is reportedly irrevocable and stems from  growing dissatisfaction with his diplomatic performance amid ongoing  political and bilateral tensions between Yerevan and Moscow.   Earlier, the newspaper "Zhogovurd," citing its sources, reported that  Nikol Pashinyan had decided to recall Armenia's ambassador to Russia,  Gurgen Arsenyan, from his post, and that the decision is  irreversible. It stems from growing dissatisfaction with his  diplomatic performance amid ongoing political and bilateral tensions  between Yerevan and Moscow.
