
ArmInfo. On August 20, RA President Vahagn Khachaturyan received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Canada to the Republic of Armenia Andrew Turner, who is concluding his diplomatic mission in Armenia.
According to the Presidential Office, Vahagn Khachaturyan thanked the Ambassador for his work and contribution to the development of Armenian-Canadian relations. The President noted that significant progress has been made recently in strengthening relations between Armenia and Canada, as well as in identifying new areas and prospects for cooperation. In this context, Khachaturyan particularly highlighted the visit of the delegation led by Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carne to Armenia to participate in the 8th European Political Community Summit.
"During your tenure, we have gone through difficult and challenging times, and during this time, Armenia felt Canada's support and assistance." "I would also like to thank you and the Canadian government for this," the President noted.

He also emphasized Canada's readiness to continue supporting Armenia in processes aimed at strengthening democracy.
