


ArmInfo.During a meeting in Yerevan on August 18, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and Abraham Hamadeh, a member of the US House Armed Services Committee, discussed issues related to the institutionalization of peace in the South Caucasus.
According to the press service of the Armenian Foreign Ministry, the interlocutors highlighted the historic significance of the August 8, 2025 Washington Peace Summit in establishing peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan and realizing the region’s development potential. They also discussed efforts aimed at further institutionalizing peace and stressed the importance of addressing humanitarian issues.
Mirzoyan and Hamadeh expressed satisfaction with the unprecedented momentum in the development of the Armenia-U.S. comprehensive strategic partnership, noting tangible results of cooperation across various sectors.
In this context, they singled out the establishment in Armenia of a data center, or “AI factory,” by Firebird AI as one of several mutually beneficial initiatives. The sides also discussed prospects for expanding bilateral cooperation and exchanged views on regional developments.
