ArmInfo. Narek Karapetyan, head of the largest opposition faction "Strong Armenia" in the National Assembly, and faction member and Deputy Speaker of Parliament Aram Vardanyan met with Alexandra Cole, Ambassador of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to the Republic.
According to the press service of the Armenian Parliament, Cole congratulated Aram Vardevanyan on his election as Deputy Speaker of the Armenian Legislature and Narek Karapetyan on his election as head of the "Strong Armenia" faction.
The faction representatives highlighted the development of cooperation between Armenia and the United Kingdom. Narek Karapetyan briefed the British diplomat on the political situation in Armenia and discussed the activities of the parliament.
The discussion focused on current challenges and problems in the judicial and legal systems. Among other things, the need to develop the education system was particularly emphasized.
