
ArmInfo. The Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports of the Republic of Armenia and the French theater troupe "Sate-Atre" have signed a memorandum of cooperation to strengthen cultural ties between Armenia and France, as reported by the Ministry.
According to the source, the memorandum was signed by Deputy Head of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports Tigran Virabyan and Director of the French theater troupe Satenik (Sate) Khachatryan. Within the framework of the signed document, joint projects in the fields of contemporary dance and drama, educational programs, master classes, creative laboratories, and festivals are planned. The purpose of the memorandum is to strengthen and develop cultural cooperation between Armenia and France, specifically promoting Armenian culture in France and French culture in Armenia.
The Deputy Minister recalled the successful implementation of several important joint projects, particularly highlighting the Franco-Armenian production "The Color of Pomegranates," dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Sergei Parajanov. He also noted the existing foundations of cooperation, expressing hope for their further strengthening. Under the memorandum, the Ministry will provide institutional support to the troupe in implementing joint projects, facilitate the involvement of international and national partners, and so on. In turn, the troupe undertakes to manage the creative, production, and organizational processes of the projects, facilitate their international dissemination, particularly in France, and develop new projects based on the priorities and cultural strategy of the Ministry of Education, Science, and Culture.
