Armenia, Ukraine discuss expanding interparliamentary cooperation

ArmInfo.  During a working visit to Kyiv, Acting Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of  Armenia Vahan Kostanyan met with Oleksandr Merezhko, Chairman of the  Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine (VRU) Committee on Foreign Policy and  Interparliamentary Cooperation.

The interlocutors discussed the cooperation agenda between Armenia  and Ukraine, emphasizing the importance of intensifying interaction  in various areas of mutual interest.

Kostanyan and Merezhko also discussed opportunities for developing  interparliamentary ties, specifically, intensifying contacts between  the relevant parliamentary commissions of the two countries through  reciprocal visits and regular meetings.

Views  were exchanged on several regional and international issues.
