
ArmInfo. On August 11, RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received ambassadors of Arab states accredited to Armenia.
According to the PM's office, rime Minister Pashinyan emphasized the significance of expanding relations and strengthening cooperation with Arab countries, highlighting the deep historical and cultural bonds shared between Armenia and the Arab world. He noted the Armenian government's stron g interest in advancing new initiatives designed to deepen political, diplomatic, and economic ties. During the meeting, the participants discussed regional peace and stability efforts, highlighting the significance of the peace process between Armenia and Azerbaijan following the summit held in Washington on August 8, 2025.
The attending ambassadors expressed appreciation for the meeting format, noting its role in fostering effective dialogue on topics of mutual interest. The parties also exchanged views on regional connectivity initiatives, including the implementation of the TRIPP project and discussed preparations for the upcoming 17th Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (COP-17), scheduled to be hosted in Armenia in October of this year. The Prime Minister emphasized the importance of the active participation of Arab delegations in the planned events.
