ArmInfo. During a parliamentary session, Kristine Vardanyan, an MP from the opposition "Armenia" faction, presented a psychological assessment detailing the condition of the 13-year-old daughter of "Mother Armenia" political council member Aregnaz Manukyan.
Vardanyan noted that Manukyan remains in custody and that her child has been denied the opportunity to speak with her mother, even by phone. Opting not to read the psychologist's report aloud to prevent any violation of the child's rights, Vardanyan stated that she would submit the document to the National Assembly secretariat for review by fellow lawmakers.
"I also ask journalists, after the deputies have familiarized themselves with the document, to approach them and ask whether there are any grounds whatsoever to deny Manukyan the opportunity to see her child," Vardanyan concluded.
