
ArmInfo. On August 7, President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov met with Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan in Cholpon-Ata. This was reported by the press service of the President of Kyrgyzstan. According to the source, during the meeting, they discussed current issues related to the development of bilateral relations, expanding trade, economic, and investment cooperation, and exchanged views on regional and international issues of mutual interest. The head of the Kyrgyz state congratulated Nikol Pashinyan on his appointment as Prime Minister, wishing him success in his future endeavors for the benefit of the Armenian people.
Sadyr Japarov emphasized that Kyrgyzstan attaches great importance to the further development of Kyrgyz-Armenian relations, based on traditional friendship, mutual respect, and shared values. He expressed confidence that the talks will give new impetus to bilateral cooperation and help identify new areas of collaboration. During the meeting, special attention was paid to the development of trade and economic cooperation.
The President of Kyrgyzstan noted the need to infuse bilateral cooperation with more practical content, expand mutual trade, develop industrial cooperation, and attract investment. In turn, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan congratulated President Sadyr Japarov on Kyrgyzstan's election as a non- permanent member of the UN Security Council, expressing confidence that this will open up additional opportunities for deepening cooperation on international platforms. He also noted Kyrgyzstan's successes in socioeconomic development, emphasizing the impressive pace of investment projects and the country's economic growth. He stated that these achievements create favorable conditions for expanding mutual trade and economic cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Armenia.
He emphasized that improving transport connectivity in the South Caucasus region will contribute to the further development of bilateral trade and strengthen economic ties between the two countries. Following the talks, the parties expressed confidence that the agreements reached will contribute to the further development of Kyrgyz-Armenian cooperation in the spirit of friendship and mutual respect.
