ArmInfo. It is necessary to decisively implement reforms in the education sector. RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated this at a government meeting on August 6.
According to him, it is crucial to abandon the policy of compromises towards teachers who fail certification several times in a row. Pashinyan noted that there are teachers who try five or six times, but are always unsuccessful. "Compromises in this matter are inappropriate. We must get rid of teachers who fail certification, because the education system and our children suffer as a result," the Prime Minister said, noting the low academic performance of applicants, many of whom fail to even receive a "satisfactory" grade, let alone an "excellent" one.
Pashinyan noted that this issue is a serious problem that needs to be addressed.
