


ArmInfo. At the 33rd International Mathematical Competition for University Students, held in Bulgaria, from July 27 to August 3. Armenian representatives won one gold, two silver, and one bronze medal, as reported by the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports of the Republic of Armenia.
According to the source, a total of 447 students from 135 universities worldwide participated in the competition. Among the Armenian participants, Vahan Baghdasaryan won a gold medal, Ruben Hambardzumyan and Tsovak Yeghoyan won silver medals, and Stepan Gevorgyan won a bronze medal, while Edgar Ohmrtsyan received an honorable mention. The Armenian team was led by Karen Keryan, with Albert Gevorgyan and Vazgen Mikaelyan serving as instructors.
