ArmInfo. Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan met with Senior Advisor to the Peace Council Arie Lightstone and President of the Trans-Caspian Enterprise Fund Konstantin Sokolov.
According to the press service of the Armenian Foreign Ministry, during the meeting, issues of developing regional connectivity and realizing existing competitive advantages in this area were discussed in detail. Specifically, the parties discussed the progress of the Trump Route RIPP program (TRIPP), reaffirming their mutual interest in its speedy practical implementation. They also exchanged views on the prospects for Armenia's most effective integration into the system of international transport and infrastructure links.
The interlocutors also emphasized the significance of the events and results achieved since the Washington Peace Summit held on August 8, 2025. Noting the key importance of the established peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan for fully realizing the region's development potential, they also discussed possible further steps aimed at strengthening peace.
The parties noted with satisfaction the active dynamics of recent high-level mutual visits, the agreements reached, and the tangible results in developing the comprehensive strategic partnership between Armenia and the United States. It was emphasized that these achievements were, in part, the result of the implementation of three memoranda signed on August 8, 2025, in Washington. Among a number of joint initiatives, special attention was paid to the rapidly expanding cooperation in the field of artificial intelligence, as well as the commissioning of a data processing center ("AI factory") being built as part of the first phase of the Firebird AI project.
Mirzoyan and Lightstone also discussed prospects for cooperation in trade and economics, as well as collaboration aimed at strengthening Armenia's economic and energy resilience. The two leaders also exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest.
