In particular, crimes against the person decreased by 33%, against property by 20.7%, and against economic activity by 85.7%. The number of apartment burglaries also decreased, while the number of crimes against state authority, the order of service and management, as well as serious and especially serious crimes, increased. According to him, no crimes involving the use of firearms were recorded in the Syunik region during the reporting period. However, the number of crimes against public safety, public order, and public health increased. In particular, these crimes primarily involve driving without a license.
The Kapan Community Police registered 234 crimes, of which 203 were solved. The crime detection rate was 86.8%. Crimes against property increased by 40%, while crimes against state power, service, and governance increased by 42.9%. Cases of domestic violence increased in Kapan, but the number of crimes against minors decreased.
The Goris Community Police Department recorded 130 crimes, a 29.3% decrease compared to the same period last year.
Along with the decrease in the number of crimes, the crime detection rate also decreased, reaching 73.8%. Crimes against property decreased by 58.6%, and crimes against persons by 17.4%. The number of domestic violence cases also decreased, but the number of crimes committed by minors increased.
The Sisian Community Police Department registered 86 crimes, solving 66 of them. This represents a 30.3% increase. Crimes against public safety, public order, and public health increased, while crimes against property decreased.
In the service area of the Meghri Community Police Department, 57 crimes were registered, solving 48 of them. The crime detection rate was 84.2%. The number of crimes against property increased. No crimes committed by minors were recorded during the reporting period.
The Syunik Patrol Service issued 23,531 reports for various administrative offenses, including 6,378 for driving without a seatbelt and 2,250 for speeding.
