NA Vice Speaker candidate  believes his wife`s salary as director of  HayPost is the lowest in the company`s history

ArmInfo. Hayk Konjoryan, candidate for RA National Assembly Vice Speaker from the ruling Civil Contract faction, believes that his wife Shushan Aleksanyan's salary as director of HayPost is the lowest in the company's history.

"My wife is the lowest-paid director in the history of HayPost,"  Konjoryan stated, in response to a question from Agnesa Khamoyan, MP  from the opposition "Armeni:a faction. Konjoryan was displeased with  the media's reporting that his wife receives a monthly salary of  $10,000 as the company's director.

 "It would have been better if the press had published a headline not  about Hayk Konjoryan's wife receiving such an astronomical salary,  but about Hayk Konjoryan's wife being the lowest-paid director in the  history of HayPost," Konjoryan said, suggesting a different headline,  such as, "How much taxpayer money did Agnesa Khamoyan embezzle while  serving as a member of the National Assembly?" 

Recall, according to the declaration submitted by Shushan Aleksanyan  to the Commission on the Prevention of Corruption, her annual salary  as director of HayPost exceeds $118,000. Meanwhile, the wife of a  ruling party MP receives a monthly salary from the state-owned  company of over 3.6 million drams, or approximately $10,000.  Furthermore, the company's 2025 financial report clearly indicates  that HayPost's financial situation deteriorated last year.
