ArmInfo.The epidemiological situation regarding measles in Armenia remains favorable, according to the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention (NCDC) of the Ministry of Health. The Center attributes this stable situation to high vaccination coverage and ongoing preventive measures.
"At the same time, outbreaks of measles continue to be reported in a number of countries worldwide, so when traveling abroad, it is important to ensure you have received age-appropriate measles vaccinations. We remind you that measles vaccination is safe, effective, and the only way to prevent the disease. In Armenia, it is available free of charge in all polyclinics," the National Center noted.
