ArmInfo. On August 1, Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan visited the Meridian Exhibition Center, where preparations are underway for the 17th Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (COP-17), scheduled for this October.
According to the government press service, Nikol Pashinyan inspected the completed and ongoing work. The tasks for the upcoming months were presented. It was emphasized that preparatory work in all areas is proceeding in accordance with the approved program.
The Prime Minister inspected the premises designated for conference sessions, delegations, press services, technical support, and other functions, and also familiarized himself with the infrastructure and technical equipment and logistical accessibility. Nikol Pashinyan stressed the importance of effective interagency cooperation and proper coordination with international partners to ensure COP17 is held at the highest level.
