ArmInfo.Narek Karapetyan, a member of the Strong Armenia bloc's political council, will give up his parliamentary salary in favor of charitable contributions. He announced this in a conversation with journalists on July 24.
He noted that he had spoken about this previously. "I will give up my parliamentary salary, and our faction will give up its bonuses. From a legal standpoint, these funds can be used for charitable purposes," Karapetyan stated.
As a reminder, the first session of the new parliament will take place on August 2 at 10:00. The seats were distributed as follows: the Civil Contract party received 64 mandates, the Strong Armenia bloc 29 mandates, and the Armenia bloc 12 mandates.
