According to the Ministry's press service, the event was attended by representatives from public catering establishments and shopping malls. During the meeting, participants were briefed on the legislative norms set to enter into force on January 1, 2027, which introduce restrictions on the circulation of plastic bags and single-use plastic products.
Attendees also discussed eco-friendly alternative solutions with minimal environmental impact, addressed questions raised by business entities, and explored the practical aspects of implementing the new requirements. Ministry representatives clarified the objectives of the legislative amendments and their expected outcomes, emphasizing the importance of public-private partnership for the effective enforcement of the new standards.
