ArmInfo. A joint conference "Iranian-Armenian Strategic Partnership in Light of Geopolitical and Geo-Economic Transformations in the South Caucasus" organized by the APRI Research Institute and the Iranian Embassy in Armenia, is being held in Kapan, Syunik region.
According to the Iranian Embassy in Armenia, during the opening ceremony, Iranian Ambassador to Armenia Khalil Shirgholami and Syunik Governor Robert Ghukasyan delivered speeches addressing environmental changes and dynamic geopolitical developments in the South Caucasus. They emphasized the need to adapt the special relations between Iran and Armenia to new realities in order to further develop the strategic partnership between the two nations.
The speakers also underscored the strategic significance of the Syunik Province for both Iran and Armenia, noting the importance of further expanding bilateral cooperation to promote regional development and enhance its resilience.
